Richard Newman (born 2 November 1946 in Chicago Illinois) is an American-Canadian actor and voice actor who is known on ReBoot for providing the voice of Daecon throughout Daemon Rising.
Newman has had numerous voice roles in "Transformers" cartoons. Newman started his career in voice acting in "Beast Wars" (Beasties in Canada) voicing Rhinox and the Vok.
Newman has also had roles in "Dragon Ball Z", "RoboCop Alpha Commando", and "Beast Machines: Transformers" as well as "MegaMan NT Warrior", and "Bucky O'Hare and the Toad Wars".
He also provided archvillain Phaeton's voice in the animated television series "Exosquad".
