Blair Peters
Blair Peters was in charge of Storyboard Supervision for ReBoot.
Blair has been involved for many years in the Animation Department, as a Producer, Director, Writer, Art Department, Art Director and storyboarding within the film and entertainment industry.
Despite his parnets originally wanting Peters to become a lawyer, he was inspired to do a career in animation instead after the influential work of Maurice Noble while watching cartoon shows "Scooby-Doo" and Chuck Jones' 1966 special "How The Grinch Stole Christmas!" in his childhood. Allegedly his favourite animated character is Shaggy from Scooby-Doo due to his disorganized, yet perpetially happy disposition. Blair's first job was with 'Outdoor Sports' as a kids coordinator. After graduating from school he entered the animation industry in 1985 as a layout artist working on "The Body Electric" and a Christmas TV special "For Better or For Worse". During that time he also helped make episodes/shows such as "The Tin Soldier" (1986), "Babar and Father Christmas" (1986), "The Care Bears" (1986) and "The Raccoons" (1986–87).
In 1988 he co-founded 'Studio B Productions' a Vancouver-based animation studio run by fellow ReBoot staff member Chris Bartleman. Since the 80s the company has produced animated television series for several major companies including Walt Disney Television, Nickelodeon, Film Roman, DIC Entertainment and many others. Studio B also produces three of their own shows, "D'Myna Leagues", "What About Mimi" and "Yvon of The Yukon" for CTV and YTV.
Soon after Blair assumed Art Director in television series "The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog" (1993) before joining Mainframe Entertainment late into ReBoot's first season as a supervisor in the Art Department. To date, Peters has been producer and director for other TV shows including "Timon and Pumbaa" (1995), "Mighty Ducks" (1996), "Road Rovers" (1996) and "Mighty Ducks the Movie: The First Face-Off" in 1997.
Since then Blair has worked in Studio B as co-writer and executive producer for its own TV productions "What About Mimi?" (2001); "Stroker and Hoop" (2005); "Class of the Titans" (2006); "Pucca" (2006); "Ricky Sprocket, Showbiz Boy" (2007) and "George of the Jungle" (2007).
